Where in the world is Mo?

So I know its been like forever since I last blogged...what gives? Well, Spring Break, Cohen's party, Bernie's adoption, Jeff's birthday, Easter, Ryan's court stuff, trying to make it to the gym daily (not that it's helping seeing as I eat everything in sight), Cohen's T-Ball, and well, my list could just go on. And while I sit here and type I am realizing just how short and stubby my fingers look and am just going to suck it up and put fake ones on them. They are just down right aweful.

Cohen is home sick today, but from what, who knows. Of course I have to think the worst and wonder if it is the swine flu. Ugh.... Just wanted to say hello all (to like the two of you that are out there) and I will soon be up and running as the blogger that I am.

To Soon

So last night I was walking in my kitchen and guess what I stepped on....a scorpion. Luckily I was wearing house slippers. It is to early for them to be inside. I usually don't need to call the pest man until April. Ugh. Another thing to keep me up at night. Until next time...

Celebrate

We made a little day trip to college station to celebrate Riley's 4th birthday at a super fun gym. After some quick, but fanastic visit, we headed to have lunch with Jeff's sister, Jennifer.

Love is in the Air

Valentine's has come and gone, but the day sure was lots of fun. Cohen had a fantastic class party filled with sugar, sugar, sugar, then received a Thomas video and Thomas accessory for his "love" gift. Until next time...

She Works Hard For Her Money

Me at work. Doesn't it look like fun?! NOT! Until next time...

Surprise

On Wednesday night Jeff said that his mom wanted to come over the day before my birthday to see me. So when the doorbell rings I go to answer the door and low and behold it isn't Lolo, it is my two BFFs, Jaime and Tessa and Tessa's little boy, Davis. They brought me a cake and beautiful flowers. Until next time...

Thunder

A few nights ago it started thundering and Cohen freaked out, so he used it as a free pass to sleep with us. Well, we all know how this goes....he got great sleep and we didn't. Until next time...

I Want One

So after I dropped Cohen off at school today, I passed by one of our neighbors houses and saw the cutest thing ever. These little baby goats were all dressed up. I love it. I am excited about getting our own goats soon, but only if they stay little forever. Until next time...

The Paint

Well, what I thought would be a fun activity to do with Cohen ended up being a painting disaster. I bought these two cute little valentine pots to make for each of his grandma's and as we were setting off to begin, Cohen decided it would be fun to see if they bounced. Sure enough, they didn't. Luckily we salvaged one and continued on with our painting extravaganza...which ended rather quickly because 1. he is a boy and gets bored easily and 2. because he dropped the red paint onto the floor with some splattereing onto my couch. Oh joy. Until next time....

Passenger

So Cohen found a new passenger to torture on his Artic Cat. My poor Joey. Until next time...

Sunday Pancakes

My child is in love with pancakes. He loves it so much he tries to eat the batter, but we don't for obvious saminella. He even claims to taste it before it is cooked. Interesting. Until next time...

Goats

If the nieghbors goats come into our yard one more time and eat our good grass, I am going to cook them for dinner. Until next time...

Talents

Cohen had a talent show at school yesterday and he decided to play his guitar and sing a "Thomas the Train" song. He certainly doesn't have stage fright...must get that from honey.

Until next time...

Thoughts for the Night

Well, I did it. I joined yet another web spot that I will need to keep up with. I don't do so great as it is with myspace and facebook, so this will be interesting to see how I do with this. I am going to use this mainly as an open book diary....a reflection for myself and Cohen to look back on.
Today was a big day for my dad. He got his tube removed from his surgery of his lymph nodes. Tomorrow we will find out what the outcome of the removal was. I probably won't get much sleep tonight. I know this is all in God's hands, so I will do my best to remember that.
Until next time...
